How to update Coocaa 50S6G and 55S6G Pro Over the Internet

Here are the step by step guide on how to update the software of Coocaa 50S6G Pro and Coocaa 55S6G Pro 4K Android TV over the internet.

Needed Tools:

• 8GB or 16GB USB Flash Drive (Fat32)
• Coocaa 50S6G Pro or Coocaa 55S6G Pro Software

Network & Internet:

Connect your Coocaa 50S6G Pro or Coocaa 55S6G Pro 4K Android TV (50” / 55”) to the internet (either Wi-Fi or LAN). Please refer to the image above for your reference.

Settings:

Once your TV established a good connection, go to “Settings”. Please refer to the image above for your reference.

Device Preferences:

Using your Coocaa remote control navigation keys locate “Device Preferences”. Please refer to the image above.

About:

Under Device Preferences window pane, select “About” and press “OK” on your Coocaa remote. Please refer to the image above.

System Update:

Under "About" window pane, select “System update” and press “OK” on your Coocaa remote. Please refer to the image above.

System Update Available:

If you prompted with “System Update Available” then, the 0.91GB OTA Update is available. Select “Download” and press “OK” on your remote.

Once you select “Download” and press “OK” on your remote it’ll start downloading the software. Please refer to the above image for your reference.

System Update Ready:

After an approximate 15 minutes, the System update is ready. (Download speed is depending on your internet speed. Please refer to the image above for your reference.

Restart Now:

To proceed for an update, select “Restart now” using your remote and press “OK”. Please refer to the image above for your reference.

Android System Update:

By selecting “Restart now” and press “OK” using your remote, you will be prompted with progress bar and “Android system update… Processing the update package… ” Please refer to the above image for your reference.

The TV will restarts on it’s own  when the Android system update progress bar reach 100%. Please refer to the image above for your reference.

Installing System Update:

Upon restart, it will prompt you with “Installing system update”. Please refer to the image above for your reference. 

Android Logo:

Once the update is done, an Android Logo is appeared.
